On the path is a story about adversity.
It is a story about overcoming circumstances, not accepting excuses and not being held back by beliefs and opinions.
The author, Daran Pratt, tells vividly the story of his life as a homeless drug dependent and how he turned hopelessness into hope and then into a career inspiring others to become more than they ever dreamed.
From his business as a Personal Trainer on NSW Central Coast and through his motivational seminars Daran touched the lives of thousands of people with the message "you can overcome anything, you can be anything".
Daran was actively involved in work with the homeless and recovering alcoholics and addicts through his involvement with Australian Council of Alcoholism and Drug Dependence and is an advocate of MSIC in Kings Cross and other harm minimisation measures.
